  5. Dual take-up drive consisting of two motors complete with gearboxes, one installed on right arm and one on left arm.
  6. Winding motor power 5.5 kW each 2P 2800 rpm (5.5 kW x 2 = 11 kW in total)

  9. Option of using take-up in full manual mode, disabling the on-board PLC, in the event of a problem with the automatic system.
  10. Numerical control of cable layering, the system features two front sensors that make up for lagging during reversing or layering trouble, speeding up or slowing down layering based on whether layering is too slow or too fast.
  11. Measuring meter with type approval from Meccanica Nicoletti srl for cable diameters 5-100 mm Tolerance for cable diameters 10-80 mm ±0.5% (PVC-coated round cables)
  12. Programmed ramp-up rate based on cable diameter with automatic maintenance of programmed speed (constant speed), this feature does away with the need to continuously correct speed as the drum core diameter increases during winding.
  13. Electronic encoder-based cable measuring system with counter reading given on control panel display.
  14. Automatic programmed ramp-down, with any inertia condition, to zero speed to avoid sudden braking at the end of the measurement for unbeatably accurate performance (avoids overrunning).
  15. No-cable and maximum-tension control resulting in machine stop, this feature makes the system 100% reliable and capable of operating unattended.
  16. Option of stopping machine operation at any time using the emergency stop pushbutton and resuming from the break-off point by releasing the emergency stop pushbutton.
  17. Operating logic is very simple and highly intuitive.
  18. System in place ready for interfacing the PLC with your management software for automatic downloading of the measurement taken and work list management.
